Me and You (And Everyone We Know)

Me And You And Everyone We Know by Miranda July.

Garden State was a much better in this respect. The vision was consistent, and the narrative focus well-kempt.

The art stands by itself. So we witness a walk-through of a Miranda July exhibition. Such as in museums, we get tired after an hour.

What we have here, is cinematic intuition tainted by a sensibility for accessibility. How to maintain a personal vision, please IFC, and touch on profoundly human topics. Too many compromises.

Could have been a much better movie.
